Indications: 

 

  • It relieve pain, reduce swelling and ease in flammation in a wide range of conditions:They are also used to treat pain and inflammation associated with orthopaedic (bone and joint surgery), dental and minor surgery.
    • Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute gout, ankylosing spondylitis. - Backache, sprains and strains, soft tissue sports injuries, frozen shoulder, dislocations and fractures.
    • Tendonitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis.

Side Effects: Upset stomach, nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, constipation, gas, headache, drowsiness, and dizziness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

 

Dosage: 

 

Adults and children over 12

 

75 mg to 150 mg daily divided into two or three doses  (50 mg b.i.d. or t.i.d). The number of capsules which you take will depend on the strength the doctor has given you.

 

Children aged 1-12 years

 

The 50 mg capsules are not recommended for use in children

 

Precautions: Before taking diclofenac, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to aspirin or other NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, naproxen, celecoxib); or if you have any other allergies.

 

Storage: 

 

Store below 25 C. Store in the original package to protect from moisture.

 

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
